Instead of producing numerous components in a batch and sending them off to the next machine (as with large-lot production), Ferro-Ceramic’s process moves one unit at a time based on the customer’s needs. This approach to ceramic CNC machining gives Ferro-Ceramic more flexibility to customers’ demands without time delays or diminished quality.

Ferro-Ceramic’s staff are trained to operate various units so they can be deployed on any machine within their cell, ensuring that there’s always a knowledgeable operator available when a grinder or lathe is needed and becomes available.
Too often, the grinding process comes to a halt because a problem arises within a machine that a worker isn’t trained on, even though it’s within their cell. That’s not an issue at Ferro-Ceramic, as our staff receives complete training on all the machines within their cell, so if ceramic machining issues develop, multiple staff are trained to devise a solution.

Our machines are cooled by an aqueous-based central coolant system that removes contaminants down to three microns. Additionally, we maintain a close relationship with diamond tool manufacturers, which allows us to utilize wheels and fixtures designed specifically for each job.
